Start Me Up

One mile of the St. Charles streetcar from Canal Street to Lee Circle is up and running today. Only five more miles to go.

Not only was I excited about the return of the street cars, but I saw the ad for Gautreau's on the side of the car and thought my favorite restaurant must be open. Then I realized the trees were too green, the location was too far Uptown, and the car was not decorated for Christmas. It had to be an old photo.; Tuesday, December 19, 2006 2:36:00 PM
